LG Q9 One Smartphone With IP68 & MIL-STD 810G Certification

LG has teamed up with Google to announce a new premium Android One smartphone – the LG Q9 Android One in its home country, South Korea. It will go on sale exclusively via LG U+ for KRW 599,500 (~ USD 534 or EUR 473) and arrives in Moroccan Blue colour.

Pre-loaded with Android 9.0 Pie (Android One), the LG Q9 One is the upgrade over the LG Q9 and seems to be based on the LG G7 One. It has a 6.1-inch (3120 x 1440 pixels / 564 pixels) QHD+ 19.5:9 FullVision IPS display, HDR10 USB Type-C port, Boombox Speaker, 32-bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC, 3.5 mm audio jack and a 3,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0.

Internally, the smartphone is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage (UFS 2.1). It comes with a dedicated Google Assistant button, microSD slot (up to 2TB cards), NFC, Bluetooth 5.0 LE and rear-placed fingerprint sensor.

Photography is handled by a single 16MP (f/1.6) rear camera with 71-degree wide-angle lens and LED flash alongside a front facing 8MP (f/1.9) camera with 80-degree wide-angle lens. It is IP68-rated for water and dust resistant, and MIL-STD 810G certification to withstand adverse conditions.
