LG and Sprint have been open about their plans to launch a 5G-enabled smartphone sometime this year (H1 2019). Popular leakster, Evan Blass (@evleaks) has graciously shared a leak of LG’s V50 ThinQ For Sprint with a rear 5G branding wrapped in the carrier’s famous golden yellow branding.
The LG V50 ThinQ is almost confirmed to be the brand’s first 5G smartphone and the launch will definitely happen at the MWC 2019. The phone has almost the same look as the LG V40 ThinQ but the three rear cameras (wide angle, normal and telephoto) with LED flash now blends into the back.

It is expected to be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 premium processor, 20% larger battery than the V40 ThinQ (4,000mAh) with fast charging support, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and Vapour chamber cooling system. It will also have a notched 6-inch fullscreen display, dual front cameras, USB-C port and a dedicated Google Assistant button on the left hand side.
No additional information has surfaced about the LG V50 ThinQ but the Korean company is also expected to launch the last smartphone in the G series flagship – the LG G8 ThinQ. We will have the full specifications about both device during thr MWC.
