7-inch Alcatel Onetouch Pop 7 tablet available from MetroPCs for $149

The Alcatel Onetouch Pop 7 tablet was announced as far back as the CES 2014 in January and is available in any MetroPCS store that have it in stock. There is nothing notable about the Pop 7 tablet except it cost a meagre $149 and supports 4G asides that there are better options in the market. Going back to Android 4.2 is such a no-no, as the specs would be better off with Android 4.4 or even the Android 4.3.

Out of the box, the Alcatel Onetouch Pop 7 features a 7-inch (600 x 1024 pixels) display, powered by a dual-core Mediatek MT8312 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali-400 GPU and 1GB of RAM. Other features include – 8GB of internal storage, a microSD card, support for vibraion alerts, front VGA camera and 2MP rear camera. The device also packs the following connectivity options – Bluetooth 4.0, 4G and Wi-Fi.

The Alcatel Onetouch Pop 7 measures 8.9mm in thickness, runs on the dated Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and packs a 3240mAh battery which is said to power the device for 8hours of usage.
