Meizu has unveiled the sales rollout of its new Note series smartphone – the Meizu Note 9. This successor to last year’s Meizu Note 8 packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 octa-core mobile platform paired with the follow memory configurations: 4GB RAM with 64GB built-in storage, 4GB RAM with 128GB storage and 6GB RAM with 64GB storage.
The Meizu Note 9 has notched a 6.2-inch Full HD+ 18.7:9 2.5D curved glass display with 89.23-percent screen-to-body ratio and 450 nits brightness, back cover with glass texture, USB Type-C port, rear fingerprint sensor (0.2 sec unlock time) and a 4,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging (mCharge).
The smartphone boots Flyme 7.2 (based on Android 9 Pie) along with features such as Game Mode 3.0 and Hyper Gaming optimization. For photography, it has a dual rear camera setup which includes a primary 48MP (f/1.7) camera with Samsung GM1 sensor and a secondary 5MP camera for depth sensing. It has a single 20MP (f/2.0) selfie camera with face recognition 3.0.
Available in Black, Sparkling Blue and White colours, the Meizu Note 9 4GB + 64GB model is priced at CNY 1,398 (US$ 208) and both the 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 64GB models cost CNY 1,598 (US$ 238).
