7-inch Lava QPAD R704 Android tablet with Voice Calling Launched

The Lava QPAD R704 is the latest voice calling tablet from Lava and is the successor to the the QPAD e704 which was launched in April 2014. The Qpad R704 supports Single-SIM, offers voice calling features and runs on the dated Android 4.3 Jellybean out-of-the-box (upgradeable to Android 4.4 Kitkat OS).

The tablet according to the company is targeted at young working professionals, students in professional courses and enterprise segment. Specs-Wise the Lava QPAD R704 features a 7-inch (1024×600 pixels) IPS display, powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of inbuilt storage and a microSD card for storage expansion (up to 32GB).

On the rear is a 2MP camera and a front-facing VGA camera is also on-board. Connectivity options include – Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, EDGE, GPS, Micro-USB and USB OTG.

The Lava QPAD R704 tablet packs a 3500mAh battery which is tipped to deliver up to 300 hours of standby time and 10 hours of talk time. It also supports Qualcomm Quick Charge technology which allows the device charge 30 percent faster.
