Vivo’s relatively new IQOO sub-brand has teamed up with the China National Space Administration to launch a special edition of the Vivo IQOO gaming-focused smartphone. Dubbed the Vivo iQOO Space Knight, the limited-edition device comes with a unique package box that includes engraved nameplate made from the type of metal used to build the Shenzhou spacecraft and Kevlar-like back covering like the PocoPhone F1.
The Vivo iQOO Space Knight Limited Edition comes in only 12GB RAM and 256GB storage option. It has a 6.41-inch Full HD+ 19.5:9 AMOLED display with 91.7% screen-to-body ratio, in-display fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port, NFC and power is supplied by a 4,000mAh battery with support for 44W ultra-fast charging tech. It is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 mobile platform and boots Android 9.0 Pie with Funtouch OS 9 on-top.
The camera department features a 12MP (f/2.0) selfie camera in the front notch and triple rear camera system which includes 12MP (f/1.79) shooter with Sony IMX363 sensor, 13MP shooter with 120-degree ultra-wide-angle lens and 2MP (f/2.4) snapper. There is no word on pricing and availability, but whenever the device goes on sale, it will cost more than the top-end variant of the iQOO smartphone (CNY 4,299).
