ZTE Unveils Nubia Z20 with Dual AMOLED Display, Triple Rear Cameras

ZTE’s Nubia sub-brand has unveiled its latest dual-screen flagship – the Nubia Z20 in China. Comparable to last year’s Nubia X, the phone has a primary 6.42-inch FHD+ 19.5:9 AMOLED front display with notch and minimal bezels, and rear 5.1-inch HD+ AMOLED always-on screen which also serves the purpose of the selfie camera. It has a mirror-polished metal body frame with curved sapphire glass and the fingerprint scanners are mounted on both sides.

The Nubia Z20 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ mobile platform paired with 6 or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, up to 512GB UFS 3.0 storage and boots Android Pie OS with nubia’s 7.0 UI. It has a triple rear camera setup which includes a primary camera with 48MP (f/1.7) Sony IMX 585 sensor, OIS and dual LED flash, 16MP 122.2° ultrawide camera and 8MP telephoto camera with 3x loss-less zoom and 30x digital zoom. The camera is capable of recording videos at up to 8K resolution, 1920fps super slow-motion and supports HDR 10.

Power is supplied by a 4,000mAh battery with 27W PD fast charging and Quick Charge 4.0. The Z20 is available for pre-order in China and comes in Black, Blue and Orange colours. The base 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage model is available for CNY 3,499; the 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage model for CNY 3,699; and the high-end 8GB RAM/256GB storage model is priced the most at CNY 4,199. It will go on sale starting August 16 and globally in various markets in Canada, Europe, the US. and UK starting September.
