Realme has unveiled the Realme XT at a launch event in India. It comes pre-loaded with ColorOS 6.0 (based on Android 9 Pie) and arrives in three RAM and storage configurations: 4GB + 64GB model for INR 15,999; 6GB + 64GB model for INR 16,999 and 8GB + 128GB model for INR 18,999.
The highlight of the Realme XT is its quad rear camera setup which is headlined by a 64MP (f/1.8, EIS, 0.8μm) primary snapper with 1/1.72″ Samsung GW1 sensor. This is paired with an 8MP (f/2.25, 1.12μm) snapper with 119° ultra-wide-angle lens; 2MP (f/2.4, 1.75μm) depth snapper and 2MP (f/2.4, 1.75μm) macro snapper. The phone has AI scene recognition, Chrome boost and Expert mode.
The smartphone sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with 91.9% screen-to-body ratio, in-display fingerprint sensor (GOODIX), Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and back, USB Type-C port and 16MP (f/2.0) selfie camera with Sony IMX471 sensor. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 AIE SoC and power is provided by a 4,000mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charger.
The company also confirmed that its upcoming Realme XT 730G for gamers will retain most the features of the XT, however, it would be based on the more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 mobile platform and will offer 30W VOOC fast charging. It is expected to arrive in December.

- The Realme Bud Wireless neckband and Realme Powerbank (10,000mAh) will be available for INR 1,799 and INR 1,299 respectively. The former supports Bluetooth 5.0, promises a total of 12 hours of battery life and 100 minutes of playback time on 10 minutes of charge and while the latter has both USB-A and USB-C ports and delivers 18W two-way fast charging.
- The company is expected to dole out Android 10 update in Q1, Q2 and Q3 2020. The first batch will arrive on the realme 3 pro, realme 5 pro, realme X, realme XT in Q1 2020; the second batch for the realme 3, realme 5 and realme 3i in Q2 2020 and finally the realme 2 Pro in Q3 2020.
