Realme has restyled the Realme 5 as the Realme 5i for the Indian market. The device is equipped with an AI-enhanced quad rear camera setup which includes a primary 12MP (f/1.8, 5P lens, PDAF, 10x digital zoom) camera paired with a 8MP (f/2.25, 119° angle, 5P lens) wide-angle camera, 2MP portrait camera and 2MP macro camera with 4cm shooting distance.
The camera supports 4K video recording @30fps, 1080p HD video @30fps, Support 120fps slow motion and has features such as Electric image stabilization (EIS) for video, AI HDR, AI beauty, AI scene recognition, Chroma boost, Super nightscape, Filter mode, Panorama mode, Expert mode and Time-Lapse mode. The front 8MP (f/2.0, 5P lens) selfie camera with AI beauty and AI HDR.
The Realme 5i has a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with 89% screen-to-body ratio, drewdop notch, Corning Gorilla Glass protection and Night mode for eye care. It is powered by the Snapdragon 665 AIE processor paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Power is supplied by a massive 5,000mAh battery, which offers up to 30 days of standby time.
It has a 3-Card Slot (Dual SIM + MicroSD), 3.5mm audio jack, boots ColorOS 6.1 (based on Android 9 Pie) and supports both fast charging (10W) and reversible charging. The 5i is7 priced starting at INR 8,999 on Realme India website and Flipkart; and will go on sale starting this week (January 15) in Aqua Blue and Forest Green colours.
