Google has revealed the dates and location for its annual developers’ conference. The Google I/O 2020 is scheduled to hold from May 12 to 14 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California, and applications to purchase tickets to the event will open from February 20 – 25.
Google’s I/O events usually see a range of hardware and software announcements. Last year, the company announced the Android Q Beta, Google Stadia, Pixel 3A and Pixel 3A XL as well as the Nest Hub Max. This year, Google is expected announce the Pixel 4a (and Pixel 4a XL) with a possible punch-hole display, square camera bump and Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 or Snapdragon 765 processor.

Google is also expected to introduce the next iteration of Android OS – Android R or Android 11. While there is currently little information as to what to expect from the three-day event as well as the next operating system, the company could drop the first Android 11 (or Android R) Beta and other Nest branded hardware products.
