V By VFD – The New Digital Banking Platform in Town

To keep up with the digital era, more banks and credit houses are turning to digital technologies to keep up with customer demands and offer better customer experience. The VFD Group, owners of the VFD Microfinance Bank, is joining the digital banking trend with the launch of its V virtual bank.

To get started, the user needs to download the V By VFD app (Android & iOS) to open a V account within two minutes. The fully digital personalised account (could either be salary, savings or current) promises withdrawals, swift and secure transfers, bills payment, fixed deposits, targeted savings, budget and expenses monitoring and lots more.

The V platform is urging business owners to set up both business and employee income accounts with V to enjoy access to loan facilities for salary payment, overdraft facilities for staff and lots more. Users with an eye for earning extra income can become sales agent for the platform by creating their own banks and getting people onboard.

Speaking during a media launch, Managing Director, VFD Microfinance, Azubike Emodi said;

“V is a fully digital one-stop platform offering more options for banked and unbanked Nigerians. This product comes at a time when consumers are groaning under the burden of high maintenance fees, bank related charges and other regulatory demands, which banks pass unto the end-users in the financial sector. V is closing the gap, which hitherto existed between established traditional banks and their customers”.
