Motorola Unveil Moto G8, Moto G8 Power Lite & Moto e6S (2020)

On the back of the launch of the Moto G Stylus and Moto G Power, Motorola followed up three new devices – the Moto G8, Moto e6S and Moto G8 Power Lite. Both the e6S and G8 Power Lite come pre-loaded with Android pie while the G8 comes pre-loaded with a bloatware free version of Android 10.

Moto G8

Launched in March, the Motorola Moto G8 packs a 6.4” HD+ Max Vision display, Snapdragon 665 octa-core SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64GB storage (expandable up to 512GB via microSD), 8MP selfie camera, water repellent build and a long-lasting 4,000mAh battery. Photography is handled by an AI-powered camera system headed by a primary 16MP (f/1.7, 1.12μm) camera paired with an 8MP (f/2.2, 1.12μm) ultra-wide-angle camera and 2MP (f/2.2, 1.75μm) macro camera. The device is available on sale in Brazil, Europe, Latin America, Asia and Australia.

Moto G8 Power Lite

Backed by the same 5,000mAh battery as the Moto G Power, the Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite is expected to last up to 100 hours of music streaming and 19 hours of watching the latest movies and shows. It sports a 6.5-inch Max Vision display, MediaTek Helio P35 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64GB storage (up to 256GB via microSD), rear fingerprint sensor and 8MP selfie camera in the waterdrop notch.

The main camera setup has a primary 16MP camera paired with a 2MP macro lens for 4x zoom and 2MP depth sensing unit. The Moto G8 Power Lite comes pre-loaded with the dated Android Pie and is available in Mexico, Germany (EUR 169), Latin America, Europe, Asia and Australia.

Moto e6S (2020)

The latest entrant to the Moto e family, the Moto e6S has a 6.1-inch Max Vision display, MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, 2GB RAM, 32GB built-in storage (up to 256GB via microSD), Rear fingerprint sensor, 13MP + 2MP dual rear cameras, 5MP selfie camera and 3,000mAh battery. It will go on sale in coming weeks in various markets in Latin America, Europe and Asia.
