Alongside the Microsoft Surface Go 2 and Surface Book 3, the company also added new accessories to the Surface line – the Microsoft Surface Earbuds (finally), Surface Headphones 2, and Surface Dock 2. All three devices are also available for pre-order online and will be available before the end of May.

The Surface Earbuds is now available on sale starting May 12 for US$ 199. The company’s first truly wireless earbuds is expected to punch its weight against similar products such as the Apple’s AirPods and Samsung’s Galaxy Buds. It offers intuitive touch controls, Microsoft’s Swift Pair feature, Screen-free integration with both Microsoft 365 and Spotify, and up to 24 hours of battery life (8 hours on a single charge and more via the wireless charging case).

The Surface Headphones 2, successor to the original Surface Headphones, arrives with updated sound quality, better battery life and new Matte Black finish to join the existing classic Platinum option. Priced starting at US$ 249, it inherits the same body design and adjustable 13 levels of active noise cancellation, Microsoft 365 integration, the Swift Pair feature and battery life increased up to 20 hours.

Microsoft rounded off the new product announcement with the Surface Dock 2 docking station (connects via the Surface Connect connector) and the USB-C Travel Hub (connects via USB-C) to offer alternative means to connect to monitors, accessories, and additional storage. In terms of specs, the Surface Dock 2 pack 4x USB-C ports, 1x Ethernet jack, 1x 3.5mm audio jack, 2x USB Type-A ports, surface connect connector and a Kensington lock. Pricing is set starting at US$ 259.99.

Priced affordably at US$ 99.99, the Microsoft USB-C Travel Hub is equipped with 1x USB-C port, 1x USB Type-A port and three ports (Ethernet, HDMI, and VGA). Other product releases include the Microsoft Bluetooth Desktop (US$ 59.99) and Microsoft Ergonomic Desktop (US$ 89.99).
