Fujitsu Stylistic Q555 2-in-1 tablet announced with sensitive pen support

Known for offering enterprise friendly hardware at premium prices, Fujitsu is back again with the Stylistic Q555 2-in-1 tablet with a keyboard dock, 10-inch touchscreen display and pressure-sensitive pen input. The Fujitsu Stylistic Q555 boots either the Windows 8.1 64-bit or Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit OS.

The Fujitsu Stylistic Q555 is said to feature some business friendly features such as – an optional fingerprint scanner, anti-glare coating on the display, optional SmartCard reader and a TMP security module.

Specs wise, the Fujitsu Stylistic Q555 has a 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution IPS display with a pressure sensitive pen input as well as supporting a 10-finger multitouch input. Under the hood is a Intel Atom Z3795 quad-core Bay Trail processor, 4GB of RAM, up to 128GB of internal storage, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front facing camera and a battery capacity which is not mentioned but is tipped to perform for over 10 hours of usage.

Other features includes – Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, (optional support for NFC, GPS, and cellular data), stereo speakers, dual microphones, full-sized USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, a microSD card slot, micro HDMI port, and optional USB to Ethernet or VGA adapters. There’s also an optional docking station with HDMI, VGA, and Ethernet ports.

The Fujitsu Stylistic Q555 would be available by December 2014 or January 2015 in Select markets including Japan. There is however no details yet on the official pricing information.
