Samsung Electronics has unveiled the Fans Edition (FE) of the Galaxy S20 flagship series. The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, as it is known, brings select premium features from the latest S20 series such as the chipset, AI-powered camera, and long-lasting battery. For a price starting at US$ 699, the device will be available through carriers, online retailers online and Samsung.com from October 2, 2020. In the UK and Australia, the price tag starts at GBP 599/ 699 and AU$ 999/ 1,149 for the 4G and 5G models.

Based on either Samsung’s Exynos 990 (4G) or Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 (5G) processor, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE has a 6.5-inch Infinity-O Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, in-screen fingerprint scanner, 32MP selfie camera with tetra-binning technology, IP68 water and dust resistance rating, and depends on a 4,500mAh battery with fast wired and wireless charging like the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.
Photography is handled by a pro-grade triple camera setup with 12MP (f/1.8, OIS, Dual Pixel AF) primary camera paired with a 12MP (f/2.4) ultrawide and 8MP (f/2.4, 30x space zoom) telephoto cameras. The S20 FE is available in either LTE or 5G connectivity, up to 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of built-in storage and six colour options – cloud Lavender, Cloud Mint, Cloud Navy, Cloud Orange, Cloud Red, and Cloud White.
