Motorola has added two new mid-tier smartphones to its Moto G series – the Moto G9 Power and Moto G 5G. Both smartphones are powered by different Qualcomm processors and don features such as triple rear camera system, fast charging batteries and Android 10 OS with My UX. They also have dedicated side-placed Google Assistant Buttons, and charges via USB-C ports (20W charger).
Moto G9 Power
The Moto G9 Power comes with a massive 6,000mAh battery, which charges via USB-C port (20W charger) and delivers up to 60 hours of power on a single charge. It sports a 6.8-inch HD+ MaxVision display, 16MP selfie camera in the punch-hole notch, microSD card slot, rear fingerprint sensor, and triple rear camera system with 64MP main + 2MP macro + 2MP depth combination.
Under the hood, the G9 power is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 622 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB built-in storage. It arrives in Electric Violet (Purple) and Metallic Sage colour options for a price tag starting at EUR 200. Sales will commence initially in Argentina and select markets in Europe before rolling out to markets in Asia, India, Latin America, and the Middle East.
Moto G 5G
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G 5G Mobile Platform, the Moto G 5G offers 5G connectivity and depends on a 5,000mAh battery with 20W TurboPower fast charging, that lasts up to two days on a single charge. It packs a 6.7-inch FHD+ MaxVision display with 20:9 aspect ratio and HDR10 support; 4/6GB of RAM, 64/128GB built-in storage, 3.5mm audio jack, IP52 splash-proof rating, and 16MP selfie camera with large 2.0μm pixel size.
The phone’s triple camera system is headed by a 48MP main camera paired with 8MP ultra-wide lens and 2MP macro vision lens. The phone comes pre-loaded with Android 10 with My UX and arrives in Frosted Silver and Volcanic Grey colours. Pricing starts at EUR 300 for the base model in Europe and eventually other markets in Asia, India, Latin America, and the Middle East.
