HTC Wildfire E3 Debuts with Helio P22 SoC, Quad Rear Cameras

HTC has enjoyed its hay days in the smartphone market. The Taiwanese company, which has adopted a much lower profile, has quietly announced the HTC Wildfire E3 for the Russian market. The entry-level smartphone is available in Black and Blue colours and listed on Russian retail outlet, Citilink, without pricing and availability information.

The HTC Wildfire E3, successor to the Wildfire E2, has a 6.517-inch (1600 x 720 pixels) HD+ IPS in-cell display with 88% screen-to-body ratio, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 13MP (f/2.0, FF) selfie camera in the waterdrop notch. It comes pre-loaded the now dated Android 10 OS and powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762) octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB built-in storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD).

Power is supplied by a 4,000mAh battery (non-removable) with 10W (5V/2A) fast charging. The rest of the specs include Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C port, rear fingerprint sensor, Face unlock, 3.5mm stereo audio jack, and gradient rear cover.
