Over the past weeks, these are some of the smartphone launches that caught our attention. OnePlus launched its slimmest device since the OnePlus 6T, the Nord CE 5G while Realme commenced sales of the Realme X7 Max 5G and Realme Narzo 30. They all come pre-loaded with different skins of Android 11 OS.
OnePlus Nord CE 5G
OnePlus’ latest Nord series entrant, the Nord CE 5G is fitted with a 6.43-inch Fluid AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, in-display fingerprint sensor, 3,5mm audio jack, 16MP (f/2.45, 1.0µm) Sony IMX471 selfie camera and 4,500mAh battery with Warp Charge 30T Plus fast charging via USB-C. It comes pre-loaded with OxygenOS 11 (based on Android 11) and based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G mobile platform paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.1 storage.
Main photography is handled by a triple rear camera setup with 64MP (f/1.79, 6P, 0.7µm) main, 8MP (f/2.25, 119° FOV) ultra-wide and 2MP (f/2.4) mono lens cameras. Pricing starts at EUR 299/INR 22,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model; EUR 329 / INR 24,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model and EUR 399/INR 27,999 for the top model (12GB + 256GB). It will arrive in Blue Void, Charcoal Ink and Silver Ray colours.
Realme X7 Max 5G and Realme Narzo 30
Over the past weeks, Realme has released a decent number of smartphones including the Realme X7 Max 5G and the Realme Narzo 30. The former is the global edition of the Realme GT Neo and based on the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 octa-core processor while the latter is based on another MediaTek SoC – the Helio G95. Both versions offer up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB built-in storage.
The Realme GT Neo has a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 16MP (f/2.5, 1.0µm) selfie camera and a triple rear camera setup consisting of 64MP (f/2.8, 0.8µm) + 8MP (f/2.3, 119o FOV) + 2MP macro lens. The rest of the specs include Bluetooth 5.1, USC-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos, and 4,500mAh battery with 50W fast wired charging and 2.5W reverse charging.
The Realme Narzo 30 has a 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS display with 90Hz refresh rate, 48MP (f/1.8) + 2MP + 2MP triple rear cameras, 16MP selfie camera and 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging. The rest of the specs include USB Type-C port, side-mounted fingerprint sensor and 3.5mm audio jack. It is available in single 6GB LPDDR4X RAM + 128GB UFS 2.1 storage for around US$ 270.
