Since its official announcement, Infinix Mobility has launched several variants of the Infinix Note 12 smartphone. The 4G-only models are the Note 12 G96, Note 12 VIP, Note 12 G88, Note 12i and Note 12 Pro while the 5G models are the Note 12 5G and Note 12 Pro 5G. Each model has multiple layers of Graphene Cooling System, Dual SIM slots, 3.5mm audio jack, and octa-core processor.
Infinix Note 12 G96 (X670)
As the name implies, the 4G-only Note 12 G96 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 (2x Cortex-A76 @2.05GHz + 6x Cortex-A55 @2.0GHz) octa-core processor. It is fitted with a 6.7-inch FHD+ True Color AMOLED display, 16MP selfie camera, up to 13GB extended RAM (8GB original), either 128GB or 256GB built-in storage and 5000mAh battery with 33W Super Charge.
The Infinix Note 12 G96 is also equipped with 10-Layered Graphene Cooling system and 50MP Ultra Night Triple Camera. It is available in Force Black, Sapphire Blue, and Snowfall colours.
Infinix Note 12 VIP (X672)
Equipped with 120W ultra-fast charging and 4,500mAh battery, the Note 12 VIP is one of the thinnest smartphones (7.89mm; 199g) around with such charging capability. The phone’s battery level goes from 0 to 100% in 17 minutes and there are thermal sensors as well as protective features in place to ensure the phone doesn’t overheat. It is fitted with aerospace-grade ultra-thin glass fibre material and 6.7-inch FHD+ Super Light AMOLED display with 30Hz touch sampling and 120Hz refresh rate.
Photography is handled by a 16MP selfie camera and triple rear camera setup with 108MP main, 13MP ultra-wide and 2MP depth lens with Laser AutoFocus and quad rear flash. The rest of the specs include 8GB of RAM (up to 13GB extended), MediaTek Helio G96 octa-core processor, 256GB built-in storage (up to 2TB via microSD), 3.5mm audio jack, Dual Speakers with DTS, NFC and Android 12 with XOS 10.6 on top. It is available in Cayenne Grey and Force Black colours.
Infinix Note 12 G88 (X663/X663C/X663D)
The Note 12 G88 is based on the MediaTek Helio G88 gaming processor (2x Cortex A75 + 6x Cortex A55) but retains the same 6.7-inch FHD+ True Color AMOLED display, 50MP Ultra Night Triple Camera, and offers up to 11GB extended RAM (6GB + 5GB) as the Note 12 G96. There is a cheaper model with up to 7GB extended RAM (4GB + 3GB) and power is supplied by a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. It is available in Force Black, Jewel Blue and Sunset Golden colour choices.
Infinix Note 12i (X6819)
The Note 12i is slightly bigger than the other variations and uses a different processor. It has a 6.82-inch HD+ TFT-LCD display with 90Hz refresh rate, 18W fast charging (5,000mAh battery), 50MP Ultra Night Triple Camera with Quad flash-light, MediaTek Helio G85 gaming processor, 8MP selfie cameras, 128GB built-in storage, up to 7GB extended RAM (4GB + 3GB) and XOS 10.6 (based on Android 12).
Infinix Note 12 5G
The Note 12 5G (X671) is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U or 810 6nm processor with an octa-core CPU configuration – 2xA76 @2.4GHz + 6x A55 @2.0GHz, ARM Mali-G57 MC2 and Dual 5G SIM support. It retains the same 5,000mAh battery (with 33W fast charging support), 50MP Ultra Night Triple Camera, 16MP selfie camera and 6.7-inch FHD+ True Color AMOLED display as the Note 12 G88.
The rest of the specs include 64GB built-in storage, up to 9GB extended RAM (6GB + 3GB), and XOS 10.6 (with Android 12 on top). It is available in Force Black and Snowfall colour choices.
Infinix Note 12 Pro (X676B) and Note 12 Pro 5G
The Note 12 Pro has the MediaTek Helio G99 6nm processor, which means there is no 5G onboard. It shares most of the features of the Note 12 VIP including its 108MP ultra-clear triple camera, 6.7-inch FHD+ Super Light AMOLED display and 5,000mAh battery, however, it only supports 33W fast charging. Alpine White, Tuscany Blue and Volcanic grey are the available colours.
The Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G, on the other hand, has the same Dimensity 800U processor as the Note 12 5G. It basically has the same features as the Note 12 Pro except for the 108MP ultra-clear triple camera and increase in both memory and storage option (up to 13GB extended RAM and 128GB built-in storage).
