Huawei Honor 4X announced with 5.5-inch Display and Kirin 620 SoC

Just like it’s counterpart the Honor 6 Plus (or Glory 6 Plus), Huawei also announced the Honor 4X. Though the Huawei Honor 6 Plus was the centre of traction, the Huawei Honor 4X in its own right is no pushover. It is powered by Huawei’s Kirin 620 64-bit Octat-core processor.

A detailed look at the specs, the Huawei Honor 4X packs a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display and users get to choose either the 1GB RAM or the 2GB RAM variant. Like I mentioned earlier, it would be powered by the mid-range 64-bit Octa-core Kirin 620 with Mali 450 GPU.

The Huawei Honor 4X runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS with Emotion UI, packs a front facing 5MP camera for selfies, a rear 13MP camera and 3000mAh battery completes the specs.

The different RAM version accounts for different prices – the 1GB variant costs 799 Yuan ($128.83) and the 2GB variant costs 999 Yuan ($161.08). Both variants are available in Black, White and Gold colour option. It can be purchased in China starting December 23 Jingdong Mall and Huawei’s VMall store in China.

Like the Honor 6 Plus, the Huawei Honor 4X is a well designed smartphone and has a very affordable price.
