Motorola Moto E Official Specs, Features and Images

Just three days ahead of the official unveiling of the Motorola Moto E, first photos of the upcoming smartphone from Motorola has leaked online. There won’t be much surprises as Motorola is hosting the Moto E launch event on May 13th in New Delhi and London. The device is said to come in three different variants – the XT1021 (single SIM), XT1022 (dual SIM) and XT1025 (dual SIM with digital TV) model numbers.

The images and specification details were revealed by Brazilian retail website Fastshop three days before the official announcement of the Moto E, the smartphone will feature a 4.3-inch scratch resistant display with 960x540p resolution, 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 5MP rear camera, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of inbuilt storage expandable up to 32GB with micro SD support and 1980mAh battery.

There are standard connectivity options on the Moto E like the Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 3G. The device will also run on Android 4.4 KitKat OS out of the box. The Moto E weighs 140g and measures 124.8 x 64.8 x 12.3mm.

Missing on the Moto E is the front facing camera, which sources confirmed was removed to reduce cost. But the device would be available in Lemon, Turquoise & Black colours with three additional colour covers which let’s you personalise your phone.

The Mototola Moto E is expected to have a lower price tag than the Moto G and would officially be launched at a dedicated event in London. Also touted to be launched is the Motorola X+1 but its more about the Moto E than the Moto X+1.
