Symphony roar A50 is the first Android One handset outside India

Some days ago, Google announced it has expanded Android One smartphones to Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh. The first set of Android One smartphones were only available in India.

The first Android One smartphone outside of India, the Symphony Roar A50 has gone official today. The handset is manufactured by Bangladesh based Symphony Mobile in collaboration with Banglalink for Bangladesh as it’s network partner.

The Symphony Roar A50 is priced at BDT 7000 ($112) and has the same specification and reference design used on other Android One smartphones available in India.

The Symphony Roar A50 features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display, powered by a quad-core Mediatek processor which clocks at 1.3GHz, 1GB of RAM, 5MP rear camera, 8GB space of internal storage, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, 2MP front camera, GPS and 1780mAh battery.

The Roar A50 slightly differs from other Android One handsets in the aspect of internal storage (up 4GB to 8GB) and slightly improved battery capacity (up 80mAh to 1780mAh).
