Xiaomi Mi Note Pro phablet with Snapdragon 810 SoC, 5.7-inch 2K display and 4G LTE (Cat. 9)

Just like Meizu announced the MX4 and the more advanced version (pro version) – MX4 Pro. Xiaomi has today announced the Mi Note and also announced a more advanced version (Pro version) – the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro.

Both the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro and the Mi Note sport the same 5.7-inch display, but the former comes with more advanced specs and supports a faster LTE connectivity.

The phablet has the same dual-glass design (3D on the back and 2D glass on the front) with metal frame. It packs the same 5.7-inch (1440 x 2560 pixels) QHD display with a pixel density of 515ppi. Under the hood is the powerful 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor (4x Cortex-A57 at 2.0GHz and 4x Cortex-A53 at 1.5GHz) with Adreno 430 GPU with 4GB of RAM and 64GB eMMC storage flash.

Other features includes – a 13MP rear camera with Dual tone flash, Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and Sony IMX214 sensor; a front facing 4MP camera with 2 micron pixel size; LTE Cat. 9 support (up to 450Mbps download speed) and a 3090mAh battery powers the device.

The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with the latest MIUI launcher on top. It also comes with the standalone sound processor ESS ES9018K2M mobile Hi-Fi edition which provide support for various formats such as WAV, APE, FLAC and DSD. The phablet would be available for CNY 3,300 ($533) in China; pre-orders start on January 20th and shipping starts on January 27th.
