11.6-inch Pipo K2 Windows tablet with 4GB of RAM and Intel Core-M Broadwell processor announced

Pipo has joined the likes of Cube and Ramos which both unveiled an Intel Core-M Broadwell series processor which consumes less power and brings a higher performance. Pipo which is also the brain behind the $81 priced Pipo Work W4 and the $112 priced Pipo Work-W2F has announced the Pipo K2.

The Pipo K2 is powered by with the new Intel Core M and Core M vPro processors which are both produced using Intel’s 14nm process. They allow for very thin and fanless tablets due to a 60% lower thermal design point with up to 20-40% faster processing than the current generation of CPUs.

The Pipo K2 features a 11.6-inch Full HD display, with 4GB DDR3 RAM, a microSD card slot, micro HDMI port, micro USB 3.0 port and a 3.5mm Audio Jack. The total main storage is not detailed but the available microSD slot allows for storage expansion.

There is no word on how much the slate would sell in the market but it would definitely be available exclusively in the China market.
