Benq B50 announced with midrange specs and Q Home UI

The BenQ B50 went official today; it is a Dual SIM smartphone with midrange specs and comes with a customised UI based on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS called the Q Home UI.

The BenQ B50 features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, powered by a 1.5GHz Quad-core Mediatek MT6732 processor with 1GB of RAM, 8GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot which supports additional 32GB space.

On the rear sits a 8MP AF camera with LED flash and a front facing 2MP camera is also on-board. Connectivity options on the B50 includes – 4G LTE (Cat. 4), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB 2.0, GPS and 3.5mm Audio Jack.

The BenQ B50 weighs 155grams, measures 143 x 72 x 8.9mm in dimensions, runs on Android 4.4 kitkat OS with the Q Home UI ontop and is backed by a 2200mAh battery. The device is currently available for $160 in the Taiwanese market.
