Gionee announced the Gionee Pioneer P6 alongside the Pioneer P5L, CTRL V6L and Pioneer P4S. The company didn’t give much details when it announced it but has revealed more by listing the on eBay in india. It is available in Black and White colour options for $144 (Rs 8890).
The Gionee Pioneer P6 is also known as the Gionee P6; it features a 5-inch (480 x 854 pixels) display, powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6852 processor (clocked at 1.3GHz) with 1GB of RAM, 8GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB.
On the rear is a 5MP camera and the front camera is a 2MP unit; both cameras have LED flash. Connectivity options on the Gionee Pioneer P6 includes – GPS, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and 3G. It measures 142.8 x 74.3 x 8.6mm, supports Dual SIM functionality, weighs 150.2 grams, runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and is backed by a 1950mAh battery.
Gionee is expected to announce the Pioneer P6 (Gionee P6) soon and the device is also expected to debut in Nigeria. It could cost around N27,000 (it could be more or less).
