Supposed ZTE Nubia W5 with Windows Phone 8.1 Leaks Online

Chinese Smartphone maker, ZTE is reportedly working on re-entering the Windows Phone market in 2014. The last time ZTE released a Windows Phone was back in 2012, though the phone didn’t do very well in the market. In what appears to be a press leak, a Nubia W5 from ZTE has been spotted and its set to be a one of the premium Nubia brand for its first Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone.

The ZTE Nubia W5 features 3GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, 13MP rear camera with OIS (optimal image stabilization), 4G LTE support. The device is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC and a very massive 4,500mAh battery.

The ZTE Nubia W5 however is expected to be the first Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 powered Windows Phone but ZTE has however not confirmed this device. Display details were not revealed but Nubia W5, judging by the surfaced image we can say its a 5-inch plus device with HD resolution display.

In terms of specs the ZTE Nubia W5 surpasses the already announced Nokia Lumia 930 and the LG Uni8which surfaced online recently.

Most users have associated Windows Phone with Nokia, whose mobile division was recently acquired by Microsoft. Microsoft recently announced that almost 17 OEMS which includes Blu, K-Touch, ZTE, Foxconn, Lenovo, Xolo, Nokia, Samsung and HTC.
