The Coolpad lvvi K1 Mini has gone official and it is currently the thinnest smartphone in the world with the Vivo X5 Max and the Oppo R5 behind it.
The Vivo X5 Max (4.75mm) took the title from Oppo R5 (4.85mm) and now it belong to the IVVI K1 Mini (4.7mm). The race for the slimmest smartphones around is always won and lost within months so it is no surprise this is happening.
The Coolpad Ivvi K1 Mini was teased back in January and now the device has gone official with most of the specs now detailed. Unlike the Oppo R5 and Vivo X5 Max it come with lower midrange specs and ‘baby skin’ texture on its back whic is said to repel fingerprints.
The device sports a 4.7-inch (720 x 1280 pixels) HD touchscreen display, powered by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with 1GB of RAM, 8GB space of internal storage and a microSD slot for storage expansion.
On the rear there is a 8MP camera and a front facing 5MP camera for selfies. The camera will include features such as ‘beauty shots’ and intelligent algorithms are employed to make sure the images come out looking good (photoshop-ping at its best).
The Coolpad lvvi K1 Mini comes with 4G LTE support and is backed by a 1800mAh battery. It also comes with a remote control capability which lets you control your home appliances like your TV, A/C,Washing Machine and other appliances.
The device is available in ‘White Colour Option’ for now which costs 1299 Yuan (around $200) in China. More colour options is expected to be added in coming weeks.
1800mah battery…too small
The slimmer the phone, they have to sacrifice some components for it.
