Sony apparently has a new device which could debut soon, it’s is not the expected flagship Xperia Z4 rather it is a mid-range device which would sport a 64-bit chipset. The device with the codenamed  Sony E2003/E2033 has been spotted on GFX Bench listing with most of its specs detailed and could be the successor to the Xperia E3.

The  Sony E2003/E2033 features a 4.6-inch (960 x 540 pixels) qHD display, powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6752 processor; quad-core CPU which clocks at 1.5GHz with Mali-T760 GPU with 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage (5GB space of RAM) and would run on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS with Sony’s UI ontop (no word on Android Lollipop).

The main camera on the Sony E2003/E2033 is a 5MP unit which can record 1080p videos and a front facing 2MP camera which can record 1600 x 1200. It would come with standard connectivity option such as Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth but it is also expected to have 4G LTE on-board.

With the codenames double its hard to know it if would have a Dual SIM model alongside the Single SIM model.

Earlier reports suggest the Sony Xperia E4 would be available in two SIM options – Single SIM and Dual SIM with the codenames Sony 2105/2115. The E4 here also has a 5-inch display and is powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT6582 processor.

Sony has an event scheduled for March 2nd at the MWC 2015 which is just some days away; we would definitely hear more about this device in coming weeks.
