TCL (Alcatel) has a new device in the works (possibly a smartphone); the Alcatel 6045 One Touch as it is known would run on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and has a 64-bit Snapdragon 610 SoC under the hood.
The Alcatel 6045 One Touch has been listed to feature a 13.7-inch display which could be a mistake but it has a (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display. It would be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 610 chipset with 1.53GHz quad-core Cortex A53 CPU and Adreno 405 GPU. The device uses 2GB of RAM, 8GB space of internal storage and is expected to have a microSD card slot for expansion.
Other features of the Alcatel 6045 One Touch device includes – a 7MP front snapper and 13MP main camera (both cameras record 1080p videos); Single SIM slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS. It would run on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS.
It’s hard to clarify if the device is a tablet or a smartphone but it’s more likely to end up as a smartphone. The company has an event scheduled for March 1; we could see the 6045 One Touch debut at the Mobile World Congress 2015.
