LG has been long rumoured to be working on a Windows Phone and since these rumours won’t go away, does it mean they could be true?. New reports have surfaced that the LG VW820 is a Windows 10 Smartphone from the Korean company which would be carried by Verizon in the US.
The LG VW820 would certainly be an interesting piece of device attributing that to its running Windows 10 but the specs won’t be that awesome – it would be around entry-level or lower midrange specs. So far the only specs of the device known is that it would feature a 4.7-inch 480 x 854 pixels resolution display.
Since Microsoft announced the unified platform – Windows 10, it has been basking in the aura of the spotlight. Even though it unclear if LG would announce a Windows 10 version of the G4 but there is already talks of a Windows 10 variant of the upcoming HTC One M9.
The company also confirmed there would be Snapdragon 810 powered Windows 10 smartphones this year. This only points to the fact that we won’t only see entry-level Windows 10 smartphones but also the flagship ones too.
Hopefully we could see some Windows 10 smartphones at the MWC 2015; but we already know they won’t be available until at least until latter this year Q3 or Q4 2015.
