Oppo has quietly announced a new mid-range smartphone into the market, it is no other than the Oppo 3000. The device has some semblance with the company’s design used on the Find Series. While this device cannot be compared to the Oppo R5 and Oppo N3; the company’s philosophy is still aligned with bringing better specced devices at moderate pricing.
The Oppo 3000 features a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display with a screen-to-body ratio of 65%. Under the hood is a a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm snapdragon 410 processor which clocks at 1.2GHz with Adreno 306 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB space of internal storage and a microSD card has been thrown into the mix which supports up to 128GB.
On the rear sits a 8MP Sony IMX179 sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a front facing 5MP camera for selfies. The device measures 137 x 68.8 x 8.95mm in dimensions, supports Dual SIM with Dual Standby and also supports China Unicom 4G/3G/GSM networks. Connectivity options includes – NFC, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The Oppo 3000 is backed by a 2000mAh battery which also comes with Oppo Quick Charging VOOC technology. It runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS based Color OS 2.1. The device is available in China for 1599 Yuan ($256) whilst there is no hope word of its availability worldwide.
