Huawei T1 (T1-823L) is a new entry-level slate from the Chinese company with voice calling feature and LTE support. The build and design is reminiscent of the Ascend G7 which was unveiled last year; the tablet has been certified on TENAA which would see it debut at the MWC 2015 in two weeks time.
The Huawei T1 (T1-823L) features a 8-inch TFT display with screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and a pixel density of 189ppi. Under the hood, it relies on a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz with 1GB of RAM, 16GB built-in storage space.
For additional storage space, there is a microSD card slot for expansion up to 32GB and for photography, a front facing 2-megapixel camera as well as a rear facing 5-megapixel camera with no flash.
Moving to the dimensions, the slate measures 210.6 x 127.7 x 7.9mm and weighs 360 grams; it supports LTE (TD-LTE and LTE-FDD), GSM, TD-SCDMA and WCDMA network as well as other connectivity options such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5mm Audio jack. The Huawei T1 (T1-823L) runs on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS and packs with a single SIM slot.
There is no word on pricing, but if turns out right – this tablet would surely be a sell out.
