Acer has announced a new ultra portable Windows 8.1 laptop targeted at Students and mobile works who are always on the go. The 11.6-Inch Acer TravelMate B115P is 21.2mm thick, weighs 1.19kilograms and offers up to 10hours of battery life.

The Acer TravelMate B115P features a 11.6-inch display (1366 x 768 pixels) resolution, full sized keyboards, powered by Intel Pentium quad-core processor, up to 8GB of RAM, and SSD storage option of 128GB. Users on a budget can purchased a striped-down version with lesser processor and storage features with 4GB of RAM, dual-core Celeron processor and 500GB of HDD storage.
The TravelMate B115P runs on Windows 8.1 OS and offers around 10hours of battery life. Also on the device is an HD Webcam with high Dynamic Range (HDR) Technology to deliver clearer images and foruse in group projects.
The Acer TravelMate B115P is also expected to come with Acer extra features including: Acer Office Manager, Acer Pro Shield, Contact pickup, Face Login, Acer Screen Grasp, Acer Touch Tools and for the educational functions the Acer Classroom Manager (ACM) and Student Journal Apps.
The Acer TravelMate B115P is also available in non-touchscreen variant dubbed the TravelMate B115. The TravelMate B115P is expected to be available in UK by early July at £349 (roughly N97, 000) and its availability around the world is yet to be confirmed.
