The Karbonn Platinum P9 is the latest smartphone from the company’s platinum series; the phablet sized devices uses a quad-core processor and comes with 8MP front camera for video chats and selfies. It is available exclusively from snapdeal for around $143 (RS 8899).
The Karbonn Platinum P9 features a 6-inch (540 x 960 pixels) qHD IPS laminated display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. 1GB of RAM is on-board to handle multi-tasking issues and 16GB space of internal storage is available as well as a microSD slot which expands up to 32GB more space.
The smartphone makes use of a front and rear 8MP cameras; the rear camera also has LED flash. Connectivity options on the device includes – GPS, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth with A2DP and 3G. It uses a Dual SIM slot, runs Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS and is backed by a 2500mAh battery.
