Leaked Oppo Smartwatch runs Android Wear and lasts One day on 5minutes Charge

Oppo is yet to join the foray of OEMs going into the wearable sect; we are yet to see a smartwatch from the company but a new leak suggests we won’t have to wait long. According to a new leak on Weibo, Oppo reportedly has a smartwatch in the works which would have circular display like the Moto 360 smartwatch from motorola.

According to a leak twitter handle @leaksfly, the smartwatch is expected to run on Android Wear OS and VOOC fast charging technology. Oppo’s fast charging tech feature on the smartwatch makes it last a day of usage on just 5minutes of charge. This feature could be a major selling pint for the watch as within 5minutes one wouldn’t have to think about charging the watch for another 24hours.

The extent of the battery life is unknown for now and it is still unknown how long the watch would last on 100percent of charge. Asides it fast charging and operating system, the watch is also said to be thinner and lighter than most smartwatches in the market.

We just have to wait until we get more detailed information about the smartwatch; but in the meantime we have the purpoted image of the smartwatch to play with. The smartwatch is tipped to launch alongside the Oppo Find 9 which would also come with VOOC charging feature, 4GB of RAM and would pack the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor.
