Infinix Mobility and Jumia Nigeria has finally unveiled the device behind the #JIMsBigThing campaign across all social media platforms. The device in question is Infinix Hot Note and asides Jumia, Infinix has been able to bring MTN onboard also as the smartphone would get 2015MB worth of data plus one month worth of unlimited music streaming on MTN Music Plus App.

Taking a look at the specs, the device has lesser specs compared to the Innjoo One 3G which launched recently and is exclusive to Jumia Nigeria also for now. The Infinix Hot Note packs a 5.5-inch display moving it into the phablet category with a HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution.
Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor with Mali 450 GPU which should be capable of keeping the device keeping. Game lovers or heavy smartphone users would be a little wary of getting the device as it comes with just 1GB of RAM and is accompanies by 16GB space of internal storage which is expandable via a microSD card slot.
The smartphone uses a 8MP/2MP front and rear camera combination to handle its photography task. The Hot Note comes with a Dual SIM slots as it is a norm in Nigeria and supports 3G connectivity alongside standard connectivity options such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Wi-Fi Hotspot.
The Infinix Hot Note Runs Android 4.4 Kitkat OS out-of-the-box and is backed by a non-removable 4000mAh battery which boasts about 600 hours on active standby.

The price of the Infinix Hot Note in Nigeria stands at N23, 500 in Naira (around US$118) and this time around Infinix has ditched Konga for Jumia. The device could at a later date be available on Konga too. Last month the Hot Note launched in Kenya for around KsH 9,999 on Jumia in the country.
