Samsung made some adjustments on the Galaxy Win 2 over its predecessor – the 4.7-inch display has been shrunk into 4.5-inch display; the front camera has gone from a VGA (0.3MP) unit to 2MP camera; support for 4G network and 0.9mm thinner than the predecessor.

Most of the specs between the two devices remain pretty much the same – the Samsung Galaxy Win 2 features a 4.5-inch (800 x 480 pixels) WVGA TFT display, powered by a quad-core processor which clocks at 1.2GHz, 1GB RAM, 8GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot for expansion up to 64GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Win 2 either comes with a Digital HD TV function or not; the function uses HD signals to allow users watch TV with high definition. It also comes with apps such as Dropbox, Evernote, Guidebook, NetMovies and One Refill app pre-loaded.

Samsung is banking on the selfie menace going on in Brazil (90% of Brazilians take selfies; 58% use the feature at least once on a weekly basis) as the selling pint for the device.  The Samsung Galaxy Win is currently only available in Brazil for BRL 779 ($249) for the one with Digital HD TV and BRL 729 ($223) for the one without the feature in White or Gray colour options.
