Lenovo A6000 Plus is a refreshed version of the A6000 with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage

Lenovo seems to be focusing on its midrange smartphones in the markets by bringing them up to date with the latest midrange requirements. The Lenovo A6000 Plus is the latest entrant; it is a refreshed version of the Lenovo A6000.

The Lenovo A6000 Plus comes with improved RAM and internal storage – 2GB RAM and 16GB space of internal storage over the 1GB and 8GB internal storage on the predecessor. Aside the above the device remains practically the same.

The key specs remains the same – a 5-inch (1280 X 720 pixels) HD IPS display, powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 306 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS with Vibe 2.0 UI ontop. The device makes use of the 8MP/2MP camera combination on the rear and front respectively. 

The A6000 Plus supports Dual SIM functionality, 4G LTE (up to 150Mbps) weighs 128 grams, measures 141 x 70 x 8.2 mm and is backed by a 2300mAh battery. Asides LTE, other connectivity options includes – 3G, GPS, Bluetooth and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi. 

No price has been quoted for the Lenovo A6000 Plus but it would surely be available in India in Black, White, Yellow and Red colour options. The pricing is expected to be in between the Lenovo A6000 (INR 7000 – $112) and the Lenovo A7000 (INR 9000 – $144).
