Chinese company, LeTV has been teasing its upcoming smartphones for like forever – that actually meant a long time. There is now confirmation on two of their smartphones which is expected to launch later this month. The LeTV S1 and the LeTV S1 Pro; as their name suggest the S1 would be the standard version while the S1 Pro would up its ante with better specs in key aspects.
The LeTV S1 Pro will be powered by the 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 4GB of RAM, 20.7MP main camera, 4MP Ultrapixel front camera, Android Lollipop OS and Quad HD display. The LeTV S1 is expected to pack lesser RAM (maybe 3GB or 2GB), mediaTek SoC, Full HD display and Android Lollipop OS. Both device would likely come with the reversible Type C USB ports.
Judging from the press shot that surfaced, there are several LeTV smartphones being handled by official from the company apparently. One of the device is the widely tipped bezel-less smartphone from the company (the LeTV X900) and it looks absolutely beautiful.
Based on another image from the presentation, it shows the pricing details of the LeTV S1 and S1 Pro – the devices are expected to be priced at $241 (CNY 1499) and $402 (CNY 2499) respectively. The additional ‘+490 CNY’ price tag is said to be for video streaming services.
