Acer announces Acer Liquid E600 and Acer Liquid E700 Android Smartphones

Continuing its invading of the Computex 2014, Acer has announced new smartphones, a Wearble and a tablet – the Liquid E600, Liquid E700, Liquid X1, Liquid Z200,Liquid Jade, Liquid Leap Wearable and a tablet – the Iconia Tab 8.

Focusing on the Acer Liquid E600 and Acer Liquid E700, both device are mid range specs device.

ACER LIQUID E600
The Acer Liquid E600 features a 5-inch FWVGA IPS display, powered by a 1.2GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 (MSM8926) processor with Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 4G LTE Cat. 4 support and a 2500mAh battery.

The Acer Liquid E600 would come in single sims as well as dual sim variants and would run on Android 4.4 KitKat OS.

ACER LIQUID E700
The Acer Liquid E700 features a 5-inch , powered by a 1.2 quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor with Mali 400 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with micro SD card support, 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera with flash, Triple SIM card support, and other usual connectivity options.

The device features a 3500mAh batter which provides 24 hours of talk time, 100 hours of music playback, 12 hours of video playback and 60 days of standby time.

“Acer Liquid E700 is a smartphone aimed at globetrotters who require a powerful battery life to keep up with their busy lifestyles. The Acer Liquid E700 delivers 60 days of standby, 12 hours of video playback, 100 of music, or 24 hours of talk time allowing users to stay connected to friends, family and the latest entertainment for long periods of time,” Acer stated in a press release.

The Acer Liquid E600 and Liquid E700 would be available in Metallic Read and Black colour variants. Both devices are priced at 10,990 rubles (N52,000 in Naira Approximately) and 11,990 rubles (N57,000 in Naira approx) respectively in Russia and would be on sale by August. Both smartphones are bound for other markets by third quarter Q3 of this year.
