Limited Xiaomi Mi Note Black Edition to go on sale on April 21 in China

Xiaomi has announced yet another Edition of its Mi Note; the device was unveiled by Xiaomi CEO, Lei Jun and popular Chinese singer Jason Zhang. The Limited Edition Xiaomi Mi Note Black Edition joins the Mi Note Bamboo Edition and Mi Note Pink Edition

What makes this Mi Note Black Edition stand out? Is it in terms of specs or added advantages? Well the specs remain the same, but the company has added some perks. It comes with a handmade leather box which contains a special photo album and Jason Zhang’s new music album.

The device would be available in Limited quantities – only 30,000 units would be available for purchase. The price tag stands at CNY 2499 ($403) and it’s sales starts on April 21 in China.

The Xiaomi Mi Note Black Edition keeps the same specs as the Original Mi Note. It sports a phablet sized 5.7-inch JDI Full HD display with 95% NTSC colour gamut and 1400:1 contrast ratio. The device has a metal frame around the edges; has a 2.5D glass on the front and 3D Glass on the rear. The main camera is a 13MP f/2.0 camera with OIS and a front facing 4MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 16GB/64GB space of internal storage. It measures 6.95mm thin, weighs 161 grams, supports Dual SIM functionality with 4G LTE on both SIM and dual standby mode, runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS based MIUI 6 and is backed by a 3000mAh battery.
