Gently curved LG Magna now available in India for $260

The LG Magna is one of the four midrange smartphones announced by the South Korean company at the MWC this year alongside LG Joy, Leon and Spirit. The Magna has now made its way to India and it is priced around at Rs 16,500 ($260).

The LG Magna (LG-H502F) is touted as having a gently curved design with minimalist curve, has a plastic patterned back cover and a 5-inch (1280 X 720 pixels) HD In-Cell touch display. The Magna comes with Rear keys below the camera to control Volume and for convenient shortcuts. 

This variant is powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT6582 SoC clocked at 1.3GHz which means it is the 3G variant; the LTE variant on the other hand is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU. Handling task on the device is 1GB RAM and 8GB space of expandable internal storage is available. There is a microSD card thrown into the mix. 

On the rear is a 8MP camera with LED flash and there is a front 5MP camera for selfies. The display serves as a front camera light and it comes with gesture shot for quick selfies. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with LG UX features , has 1W speakers, measures 10.2mm in thickness, Knock CODE, glance view and is backed by a 2540mAh battery. 

The just announced LG Prime Plus HDTV (LG-H502TV) for Brazil is a variant of the LG Magna and users would able to view TV channels in HD.
