Nokia N1 tablet now available in Taiwan for $268 by May

Just days after denying it’s return to handset business, Nokia has launched the Nokia N1 tablet in Taiwan. The tablet was unveiled earlier today in Taiwan in an event with much fanfare and dance; it is expected to arrive in the country by May and is priced the equivalent of $268 (8190 TWD).

The Nokia N1 tablet received much critical acclaim for its body build, the specs and the affordable price tag. The tablet measures a 6.9mm thin Aluminium body and sports a 7.9-inch display with 1536 x 20480 pixels resolution and 4:3 aspect ratio.

It is is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 CPU clocked at 2.3 GHz paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB space of internal storage which is not expandable. The rear camera is a 8MP snapper and a front facing 5MP camera is on-board. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with Nokia Z launcher ontop.

The tablet since launch had been only available and enjoyed massive in China selling out in different series of flash sales and now it seems the company is ready to offer the tablet in other markets. Now that China and Taiwan has been ticked off the map, we hope the company release it in more markets around the world.
