The Vivo X5 Pro has been constantly in the news via a series of leaks and now we have seen live images of the device which promises a beautiful design and has some distinct tech spec features coming along.
The Vivo X5 Pro is expected to sport a fingerprint scanner and guess what? It would be placed below the Company Logo at the rear bottom of the device. The device is also teased to come with a Retina Scanning Technology which let’s users unlock the device, the feature is dubbed Eye ID. Retina Scanning and Fingerprint Scanner on a device, how excited are you?
Moving to the design, it would have an aluminium chassis with 2.5D curved glass; USB Type-C port, Audio Hifi technology and two speakers around the bottom. Under the hood is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and a 3500mAh battery. It would have a front camera which takes up to 50MP selfies (fingers crossed on this) and would run Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.
The Vivo X5 Pro is expected to be announced next month and like most Chinese OEMS do the device would be available in the home country at first. Then it is up to Vivo to either change strategy by releasing it in other markets outside Asia or just stick with the norm.
