Vivo X5Pro Specs confirmed Via TENAA

Vivo has been teasing it’s next big thing – the Vivo X5Pro for several days now and the device has now paid it’s visit to TENAA (China’s equivalent of the FCC) with some of the key specs being confirmed and it points to a nearer launch date.

The Vivo X5Pro has a metal frame around its body; a 2.5D glass design on the front and rear and three capacitive buttons on the display. The device skips on a fingerprint sensor; it instead opts for a Retina scanner which is said to be more secured than the fingerprint scanner. 

The rest of the Vivo X5Pro specs includes – it is expected to have a display size of around 6-inch, powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor paired with 3GB of RAM. It is expected to run FunTouch OS 2.0 which is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.

The front camera is expected to be able to capture images up to 32MP; the images are created by stitching images created within a fraction of each other. The front camera is expected to have Phase Detection AutoFocus which would be better enhanced than the Apple iPhone 6. There is a USB Type-C port, located at the bottom of the device.
