Gionee Elife E8 Specs spotted via TENAA; 3GB RAM, fingerprint scanner and 2K display

The Gionee Elife E8 (Gionee GN9008) has paid it’s visit to the China’s equivalent of the FCC (US) and as expected the device left some footprints.

As seen on TENAA, the Gionee Elife E8 specs includes – (also known with the model name Gionee GN9008); a 6-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) QHD AMOLED display with narrow bezels, capacitive touch buttons and measures 164.0 x 82.3 x 9.6mm in dimension. The body build suggests the device has a plastic rear and an alloy frame along its edges

Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6795 processor clocked at 2GHz with PowerVR G6200 GPU, paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 128GB).

Earlier benchmark listing suggests a 24MP main camera with Dual LED flash and a front 8MP camera for selfies. The fingerprint scanner is below the camera, there are four grills above the camera which should be the microphone and a large speaker at the bottom.

Much of the thickness of the device is attributed to its 3520mAh battery and weighs a rather heavy 207 grams. Connectivity options on the device are confirmed to include – 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. The device would run on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with Amigo UI ontop.

Gionee earlier this year confirmed the Elife E8 would be launched in India later this year, with its certification confirmed; it is expected to launch sooner than later.
