Vertu Signature Touch – Specifications, Features & Price

Few weeks ago, the Vertu Signature Touch was spotted on Benchmarking website Antutu with high end specs.

Premium Smartphone maker, Vertu has finally announced the Vertu Signature Touch and the device is a little break from the norm. Vertu is known to make Premium phone designed with exotic material but the hardware components are very poor.

The Vertu Signature Touch features a 4.7-inch 1080p HD display with 473 pixels density and protected by Sapphire crystal. The device is powered by a 2.3GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, 64GB of storage (no micro SD card support).

The Vertu Signature Touch sports a 13MP autofocus rear camera with dual LED flash and a 2.1MP front facing camera; both cameras are certified by HasselBlad. Connectivity options on the device includes A-GPS, Wi-Fi, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, 4G LTE, 3.5mm Audio jacket, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi hotspot.

The device measures 145mm x 69mm x 10.65mm, Weighs 192g, and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS with Vertu’s . The Signature Touch is powered by a 2275mAh battery which provides up to 15.5 hours of talk time and 380 hours of standby time.

The Vertu Signature Touch will be available for order starting from this month and each handset would be made and signed by craftsman in England. The smartphone costs a whopping £6,750 (N1.9 million Naira approx) and is encased in Grade 5 Titanium, Sapphire and a range of other exotic materials.
