LG is readying a mini variant of the flagship LG G4 which would be known as the LG G4c. While the G4 is yet to be released in several markets the G4c is expected to arrive by Early June and is set to be priced at the equivalent of $318.
If you were expecting top notch specs you would be disappointed. The LG G4c (LG-H525N) sports a 5-inch (1280 X 720 pixels) HD IPS display, a slightly curved body like the G4 and a diamond pattern on the back which is made of plastic. It is powered by a quad-core qualcomm snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz. 1GB of RAM is aboard to handle tasks and there is 8GB space of internal storage to handle media files. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
The main camera is a 8MP snapper with LED flash and the front camera is 5MP camera. The G4c continues the tradition of having its volume and power buttons at the back just below the camera. Connectivity options on the device includes – 3G HSPA+, NFC and Wi-Fi. It runs on LG UX 4.0 based on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and is backed by a 2540mAh battery.
The LG G4c is expected to arrive in Europe starting with Germany by the first week in June (June 5, 2015). Metallic Grey, White and Gold are the available colour options.
