Midrange 5-inch Madosma Windows Phone from Mouse Computer is Japan Bound

Madosma is a new midrange Windows Phone smartphone launched in Japan by ‘Mouse Computer’, a Japanese company popular for making LCD TV products. Madosma is coined from the word for ‘Mado – meaning Windows in Japanese’ and Sma – Smartphone.

Madosma (Madosuma) sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS LCD display and a plastic body build with rounded edges on its rectangular body shape. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of expandable internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 16GB). 

On the rear is a 8MP camera with LED flash and a front facing 2MP front camera for selfies, video chats. Connectivity options on the device includes – Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS and micro USB. It measures 142.8 × 70.4 × 8.4mm in dimensions, weighs 125 grams, supports 4G LTE/WCDMA bands in Japan, backed by a removable 2300mAh battery and runs on Windows Phone 8.1 OS.

There is no word on the pricing and availabilit of the Madosma Windows phone; however sources believe it would be available on NTT DoCoMO for a supposed sub $250 price tag.
